Inspired by travelling and collaborating, Johanna Autin studied in Dublin, Tunis, Lyon, Mexico, Grenoble and Montreal. Native from France, she lived in Canada for 12 years. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts from Concordia University, Montreal, and presented her multidisciplinary installation work in France, Cuba, Quebec and USA.
Back in her country of origin, her interest for the contact points between art and agriculture led her to obtain in 2014 a diploma in sheep cattle raising. She installed her fibres studio in her village in South Burgondy, and shares her time between art making and growing vegetables, flowers and fruits to feed her familly.
