Inspired by collaboration and cross-culture, Johanna Autin studied in Dublin, Tunis, Lyon, Mexico, Grenoble and Montreal. Native from France, she lived in Canada for 10 years. Back in her country of origin, she now lives and work between Lille and the French Alps. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts from Concordia University, Montreal. She presented her multidisciplinary installation work in France, Cuba, Quebec and USA.
Since several years, her art practice questions our relationship with living things. Her interest for agricultural gestures poetics drew her to obtain in 2014 a diploma in sheep cattle raising.
